Trump: “With this Executive Order the War on Women’s Sports is Over.”
“From now,” Trump said, “women’s sports will be only for women.”
President Trump placed schools on notice that if they let men “take over women’s sports teams” or “invade” women’s locker rooms they will lose their federal funding.
President Donald Trump has signed the “No Men in Women’s Sports” Executive Order ending biological men from participation in women’s sports.
The “Keeping Men Out of Women’s Sports” Order puts an end to “dangerous and unfair” situations where males, who state that they are females, compete against females in school and amateur athletics.

“All of that ends today because with this Executive Order, the war on women’s sports is over,” Trump said. “From now, women’s sports will be only for women.”
The President emphasized, as he did in his Inaugural Address, that there are only two genders: Male and Female. He campaigned frequently on the issue of “transgendered” individuals competing as women to the detriment of female athletes.
“The actions we’re taking today are the latest in a sweeping effort to reclaim our culture and our laws from the radical left crusade against biological reality,” Trump said.
The Executive Order applies immediately to all schools which receive federal funding, from kindergarten through college.
Schools that fail to comply, i.e., schools that will still allow biological men to compete against women on women’s teams or in women’s sports, will be investigated by the U.S. Department of Education and could lose federal funding. The President also remarked, as was known, that he seeks to close the U.S. Department of Education and return educational responsibilities to the states. He said the U.S. was now 40 out of 40, at the bottom rung, of educational quality, and voiced his belief that if educational policy were returned to the states, that many of them would be as good as Norway or Denmark, even China.
Many qualified female athletes, at the top of their game, have lost out to “trans” athletes who previously competed as males but had now claimed they were females. According to the White House, just under 900 medals in women’s sports were awarded to male competitors in recent years. The White House observed that this has cost girls scholarship opportunities and other important victories that would otherwise have been theirs.
Trump told those who had assembled at the White House to watch him sign this historic Executive Order that athletes who identify as transgender had “won” 3,500 victories in women’s competitions. These were all medals that should have gone to females, females who had trained for years, only to face a man, claiming to be a women, in competition. The President told the assembly that ane man competing as a women in a women’s powerlifting competition had outlifted his opponent by 440 pounds.
The Executive Order was a sharp reversal from the policies of the Biden Administration. President Joe Biden signed an Executive Order on his first day in office to authorize (and encourage) men who had transitioned, were transitioning, or merely identified as women to compete in women’s programs. After Biden signed his Executive Order the hashtag “#BidenErasedWomen” was trending on Twitter.
In 2028, the City of Los Angeles will host the Summer Olympics, and Trump said he expects the International Olympic Committee to honor his Executive Order and prohiobit men from competing in women’s sports.
“My administration will not stand by and watch men beat and batter female athletes, we’re just not going to let it happen,” Trump said.
One day later and the NCAA is now in compliance:
