Mr. Trump visited the Daytona 500, “The Great American Race,” for the second time as President. He previously attended in 2020, when he also served as the race’s Grand Marshall. The crowd loved him then, and they certainly welcomed him back. Watch the presidential limousine, “The Beast,” take a couple of laps prior to the race, a great sight to see.

Here’s Trump, holding his granddaughter Carolina’s hand, greeting the drivers and race personnel.

Trump was asked why he had returned to “The Great American Race.” He answered, “It’s great for the country. Our country is doing well again.” He spoke of the racecar drivers, saying, “They have a lot of courage doing this. I’ve seen it and I’ve been here, and they have a lot of guts.”

Mr. Trump is interviewed before the race and speaks of the drivers’ courage.

As he did on his visit to Daytona in 2020, Air Force One did a flyover prior to landing.
